061112 5.4 Earthquake
So I'm in the office having coffee and we feel this low rumble. Really it wasn't much and given the shoddy condition of the building I thought it was just a truck nearby or a helo overhead coming for a landing. Nope it was a real live earthquake in the Hindu Kush. How cool is that, a 5.4 earthquake?

Kinda made you feel at home, like you were back in San Diego or San Francisco, no? lol Glad you survived and that it wasn't much worse. Usually when you read about earthquakes in countries like Afghanistan, it involves the death of several thousand, if not tens of thousands, people buried under shoddily built structures that collapsed on them. Stay safe amigo.
